Darts has become one the UK's biggest sporting success stories in recent years, and what was once a pub pastime has now been revolutionised into a global sporting phenomenon.

Under the guidance of Barry Hearn, the PDC has enjoyed vast global growth, with fans from all corners of the world flocking to watch darts' household names.

The PDC tour now offers in excess of £7million in annual prize money, with its flagship events, including the World Championship, Premier League and World Matchplay, attracting huge viewing figures and live crowds of up to 10,000 fans.

The world's top stars now compete in a jam-packed calendar of events, with the sport in the midst of its golden age.

    Jamie is a dedicated darts writer and avid follower of the sport who has been writing for various global print and online publications since 2010.

    Jamie graduated with a BA Hons degree in Sports Journalism from the University of Sunderland.  Having previously worked freelance for organisations including the Football Association, UK Darts magazine and Sportsbyte, he joined Darts TV in 2013.

    He attends the majority of major PDC darts events in the UK, covering the events live from the heart of the action at the venue and bringing fans exclusive player interviews and behind the scenes information.

    Through his work, he has developed strong working relationships with a number of top players and pundits as well as members of the darts community.

    His other interests include snooker, football, long distance running, and you may find him throwing the odd arrow in local darts competitions!

    Lachlan is a dedicated sports writer who has followed and covered professional darts for over a decade.

    Having worked for a host of major print and online organisations, including Sporting Life he joined the darts.tv team in 2014.

    Through his work, Lachlan has had published magazine interviews with the likes of Eric Bristow and Andy Fordham and regularly attends televised tournaments.

    He is a keen Glasgow Rangers supporter and his other interests include golf, poker and cycling.

    Ian is a keen darts fanatic who has been blogging about the sport since attending his first event back in 2006.

    An English Literature graduate, Ian has covered sport in the past for the likes of The Mirror, providing leg-by-leg blog updates on major events such as the World Championship and the Premier League.

    Ian researches and compiles in-depth player statistics to offer a knowledgeable insight into all aspects of the game.  

    In his spare time, you'll usually find him at the oche throwing a few 22g arrows, and his career highlight to date was a 501-leg challenge match in an exhibition against Adrian Lewis.
